In stage 3 of Tour de France, Radioshack Nissan Trek was seen back in the head of the peloton, pushing the speed in an effort to defend Fabian Cancellara‘s yellow jersey.
The stage was full of stressed riders, and there were several crashes, which led to two riders having to abandon the race. Fortunately none of the Radioshack Nissan Trek riders were hurt in the crashes.
Fabian Cancellara showed how good a shape he is in at the moment, claiming a fourth place in this very challenging stage with so many hill tops to pass.
Radioshack Nissan Trek is the second best team, both in stage 3 and the GC team competition.
