Once again Fabian Cancellara rode in the yellow jersey, making him the new record holder of the rider who has been in the yellow jersey for the most days, in the history of Tour de France.
There were several crashes today, but the worst one happened with 26 km to go. Approximately half the peloton hit the tarmac with high speed, and unfortunately Franck Schleck could not avoid the disaster. He got back on the bike, and together with Popo he tried to minimize the time loss. Schleck passed the finish with a 2:09 loss.
Today the peloton lost four more riders, who could not finish the stage. So far Radioshack Nissan Trek has been lucky, not losing riders due to crashes.

Rough day out there today. Had a body on my back wheel at 70 kph. Stayed upright, barely, but Frank Schleck hit the deck.
